[Fixed] Temporary Profile in Windows 7

It will only boot on a temporary profile which is missing several icons and barely something works. I've tried to reboot my computer twice, but it didn't work.
I recently noticed that some of my desktop icons & files are disappeared, even I tried to create a new folder and restart the computer, it is also not there after restart, there might be it was deleted automatically. I search about this issue in internet and got the causes that ” my user profile has got corrupted. Please help me to solve it.
How to restore the correct user profile after Windows starts logging in with a temporary user profile.

1.    Since the registry of Windows 7 is to be modified, log on to the computer using the administrator account.
2.    Click the Start button.
3.    From the Start menu, in the search bar at the bottom, type REGEDIT command and hit Enter key.
4.    On the UAC confirmation box, click Yes button to provide your consent to continue.
5.    On the opened Registry Editor window, in the left pane, navigate and go to:

 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProileList

6. From the expanded list, right-click the user profile ID that is without the .bak extension.
7. From the displayed context menu, click Rename and rename it to .new or something else.

8. Rename the profile with .bak extension and remove .bak from it, hence making it the current user profile.

9.    Once done, close the Registry Editor window and restart the computer to allow the changes to take effect.
10.    Log on to the repaired user account using its rectified profile.
